South Carolina Fastpitch Softball
Points will be accumulated throughout the year and will be awarded to the AGE at the time of your yearly sanction (July 31st last day of the current season). The start of the Fall season (August 1st) all teams will start back at a 0 balance and a new race will begin for the next season.
EXAMPLE: 2022 the adoption of the points race will start March 1st and end July 31st. The points program will restart for the 2022 season and run from Aug 1, 2021 thru July 31st, 2022.
Teams will earn points in all divisions. This is a PARTICIPATION points race to insure a level playing field for all teams competing throughout the year. Points will be awarded as follows:
Every team participating in a South Carolina USSSA tournament will receive 10 points. Any team that places 1st or 2nd will receive 2 additional points. All USSSA MONEY BALL TOURNAMENTS will be Double Point weekends where teams will earn 20 points for participating. Any team that places 1st or 2nd will receive 4 points.
* THE TEAM WITH THE MOST POINTS OUT OF ALL DIVISIONS WILL WIN A FUNDRAISING TOURNAMENT FOR THEIR TEAM HOSTED BY SC USSSA
